The Nissan Rogue Sport Has Added New Standard Safety Features

The 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport has been given a mid-year update. Nissan calls these updated models "2018.5" versions, and they now include some added safety features as standard equipment. The new Nissan Rogue Sport now has standard Auto Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross- Traffic Alert for added safety. Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and the distance between you and the car ahead, and can let you know if you need to slow down. It can even automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision or lessen the severity of an impact. Blind Spot Warning helps you change lanes with confidence. It keeps an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads-up if it detects a vehicle hiding there. With rear cross-traffic alert, you can back out with more confidence. It watches around the rear of your Nissan Rogue Sport, and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side. The 2018.5 Nissan Rogue Sport is available now at Classic Nissan of Texoma in Denison, TX. Come see us and test drive one today.
